Early Summer at Howick Hall Gardens - lots to see

The front borders are blooming with roses, alliums and nepeta and the lavendar hedges are in full flower and smelling beautiful. There are some newly sprung, wild, common spotted orchids near the croquet lawn.

The Bog Garden is flourishing with astilbe, primulas, Japanese iris and other unusual plants - grown from seed collected abroad.

Calling all children! Come and try the Woodland Olympics (a tree-mendous tree-athlon) or find our tallest trees.
